I’m Lauren J. Turner, an artist and birth worker based in Baltimore, MD. Creating art that addresses a crucial need for representation, particularly for Black women and families in the realms of birth and parenthood, is my passion. My work celebrates the beauty, strength, and connection found in these deeply intimate moments, providing visibility and validation for experiences that are often overlooked.

I aim to inspire, educate, and empower others through my art, sparking meaningful conversations about maternal health and reproductive justice. My goal is to support new parents by offering comforting and relatable imagery in spaces such as hospitals, birth centers, and lactation rooms.
