Original Painting: You Were Worth It All

I created this original painting to honor a birth story that deserves to be seen and celebrated. A mother rests with her newborn against her chest, her hand gently holding them close. The blue surgical drape and hospital details remain part of their story, alongside the warmth of their first embrace.

Through rich skin tones, soft folds of fabric, and the closeness of their faces, I wanted to capture the tenderness of finally meeting someone you have carried and imagined for so long.

“You Were Worth It All” holds space for love, courage, and the many emotions that can exist together after birth. Loving your baby deeply does not erase what it took to bring them into your arms. Your experience matters, too.
